Just watched the video and viewed the photos of Solar Strike. While disappointed that he didn't make it to the races, it's great to seem him getting to be a horse. He certainly seems to be enjoying himself!

MyRacehorse Thank you for writing in Joe. While we wanted to give Solar Strike, like we do all of our horses, every opportunity to be a racehorse, he told us that that career path just wasn't for him. We are happy to see he is thriving now in retirement!

Just What I Needed!

After our beloved 17 year old miniature dachshund "Lena" passed away, well-meaning friends and family immediately started to ask if my 82 year old husband and 73 year old me were getting another dog. After buying shares in two horses, I can answer "NO! But we bought two race horses!" Ownership through MRH means I can have a horse to love and support, along with the fun and comradeship of being part of this horse owning community. Of course I hope my horses do well in their racing career, but what's more important for this aging grandmother is to live my childhood dream of having a pony and fulfilling my very real need to own an animal I can love, but without the daily care my current age and health situation don't allow. I appreciate the professionalism of MRH and the frequent updates on my horses. I know that Lena will always remain in my heart but there's plenty of room to love my horses too! So thank you, MRH for rescuing me from my grief and giving me something fun and exciting to focus on.

MyRacehorse Marcia, so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Lena. We are very happy that MyRacehorse has been able to help fill the void that she left in your hearts. Thank you for your kind words, we deeply appreciate them, and best of luck to you and your stable!

Living the Dream!

I love this concept! As a lifelong racing fan, it has given me the opportunity to live my dream of "owning" a racehorse, even if it's a very small fraction. I love the frequent updates and videos of my horses, the opportunity to participate in naming them, and the chance to participate as a real owner on race day. I had the thrill of being in the paddock at Saratoga when one of my horses made her racing debut recently, and had she won, I would have been in the winner's circle with her. And MRH is meticulous in providing detailed accounting when there is money to be distributed to shareholders, they are totally on the "up and up". It's not about making money, that shouldn't be why anyone participates because they'll likely be disappointed, it's about the thrill of the experience of owning a racehorse. And they deliver on that.

MyRacehorse Paula, thank you for the kind words. We are so happy you got to experience your horse run at Saratoga! What an incredible feeling. We are looking forward to the future and best of luck with your stable!

Solar Strike was given every opportunity. Reminds me of my first son. Might as well re name this horse ‘Solar Strike Out’.

MyRacehorse Hello Mike, thanks for writing in. While we tried giving Solar Strike every opportunity for a successful racing career, he just did not want to be a racehorse. While this is not the norm with most thoroughbreds, it does happen. While we are sad he did not make it to the races, we are incredibly pleased that he is moving happily on to a second career with our talented staff member Abbey, who will do an excellent job of letting him tell her what his next steps will be.

It Made Me Young

On a sunny day when the sky was blue and all was right in my world, I made the trip to California on a midnight shuttle which took me to six airports but that is the price you pay for living life large as a minimalist. You see, all I wanted to do was to relive an event that first happened to me when I was twenty-seven at Churchill Downs, my home track. I had claimed a horse at Oaklawn Park with the help of the Hall of Fame trainer Doug Davis who was the perennial leading trainer and although he did not really want to take on a novice, poor at that, he was a friend of my wife's family so he asked his son-in-law, Billie Cunningham, to take the horse for me. He won that day which verified my handicapping skills and Bille sent him to me at Churchill Downs. The horse Come Home Soon, did just that for me when I ran him back on the double raise and I had nervously bet my entire bankroll on this horse who had eventual Hall of Fame and two-time Kentucky Derby winner in the irons, my all-time fav, Eddie Dellauseye. I was in the owner/trainer box near the cheap seats but the spot where the horses return for unsaddling and the winning photo is taken. At the head of the lane, Come Home Soon looked like a duck out of water since it was pouring rain and Eddie had him on the outside but appeared to be dying and my thoughts went to my children and my own irresponsible act to bet the mortgage money on a damned horse race! But such is the heart of those who love the races and the confidence we place in those fearless horses we all love. Then something happened, almost surreal... as I watched closely, I could see Eddie move his hands at the 1/8th pole which was near where I was standing, and in a surge, we were in the lead and opening and I was so jubilant, I was screaming and hugging anyone who got near me...and so it was an orphan boy who wasn't supposed to be there, who wasn't supposed to participate in the Sport of Kings... but was there because a priest taught him to read a racing form and what to look for in a horse ready to win. Came Home Soon won by four and he paid off my mortgage. It was the spirit and the thrill of being in the winners circle at the historic Churchill Downs that caused me to make my way to Del Mar to watch Going to Vegas emulate the perfect drama... when young men bask and old men dream and each exchange yarns of great moments and so it is that I say to you, my fellow My Racehorse partners...the dream is alive, the thrill the same and today I was twenty-seven again...living my life vicariously once again through this awesome filly... Going to Vegas!

MyRacehorse Welby, thank you for sharing that wonderful story with us. It is obvious that your passion for horse racing is unrivaled, and we are SO HAPPY that the in-person victory with Going to Vegas emulated that of Came Home Soon's incredibly feat. Thank you so much for being an MRH shareholder, we are fortunate to have someone like you, who so gloriously represents what our owners and what our company stand for. Best wishes to you and we hope you can come to the races again for another winner in the not-so-far future.

As a former race horse owner ( Quarter horses) I was thrilled to see an affordable way to experience the thrill of the win again. One of my first puchases was Authentic. I'll never ever forget my wifes reaction as He was coming down the backstretch at the Derby. OMG Our favorite song back in the day was "run for the Roses" who would have thught that 35 years later our dream came through. Thank you My Race Horse for allowing us to relive our fondest memories.. Our stable is now up to 32 beautiful creatures. No we are not in it for the money just the excitement and bragging rights. How many people can say " I own a share of the Kentucky Derby winner" and FYI I had 4 shares so gifted 1 share each to my 2 children. they are now on board with us.

MyRacehorse John, we love your enthusiasm for the sport! A massive congratulations to you, your wife, and your children on Authentic's incredibly Kentucky Derby victory. It sounds like you guys are true fans with a great passion for the sport, and we are so happy to be able to bring the passion to you in the form of ownership. Best of luck with your stable!

My Cheap Thrill

When I was 17 I spent the summer with family in NJ. They lived a few blocks from Monmouth Park. I picked up a fun gig as a hot walker for a small independent horseman who was running two-year old and three-year old colts out of Dr. Fager. One day I showed up and there were all sorts of security officers around my stable. My owner had to vouch for me so I could get in. It seems they had stabled some 17 hands tall filly named Ruffian right next to my two horses! She was the most beautiful creature ever! Three years later having gone from CA to college in the Midwest, the first Friday night in May in a borrowed car and on borrowed money from my dorm treasury, off we went to Louisville. I cemented status as my dorm’s horse racing legend by picking (and failing to bet!) the only trifecta in my life with Seattle Slew at the top. Two years later I got to see Spectacular Bid win the Derby. With bloodlines like that, how could I not have dreamed all my life of owning a racing thoroughbred? It’s why for decades I never miss playing the Texas Lottery twice a week. So thanks to MyRacehorse, little ol’ me, former hot walker, owns a handful of micro-shares in Star Six Nine, a two year old colt in training. I’m learning cool stuff, plus I get a cheap thrill and a dream with every update and video. Last comment is my response to those naysayers about MyRacehorse being a rip off. My handful of shares in “my” horse gives me a greater % of ownership than I would have with the same number shares in IBM. Watching my horse run is way more fun that watching IBM, which never does more than plod. So far, I’m having a blast. All without winning the Texas Lottery. ??????

MyRacehorse Michael, thank you so much for sharing your stories about your experiences growing up with horse racing! What wonderful times you have had. We are thrilled that you are enjoying MRH and we thank you profusely for your kind words. Best of luck with Star Six Nine, and we look forward to hosting you at events in the near future!

When I started buying Shares in my Horses I knew I was Not going to get rich but I Really enjoy wagering on my horses but out of all of them, I've only seen 3 Races and my Account has gained only a few Bucks. Like I said I Love to watch my horses race and this is getting very dull; But I will hang in there and watch for the action to start.

MyRacehorse Hi David, we understand your frustration in not being able to see your horses run as frequently as you'd like. As you know, this is a game of many ups and downs. However, upon a viewing your stable, I can see that quite a few of your horses will be running again in the near future, with the excitement of a late summer and early fall saturated with graded stakes in the likes of Collusion Illusion, Monomoy Girl, Moonlight d'Oro and so forth. Hopefully their return to the races will make the wait well worth it!

Last year I was a hot walker to a racehorse trainer now I'm a fractional owner of a racehorse,I would say I got my interest in horse racing because my mom work with racehorses as a groom and hot walker when I was child,I remember she would take me into barn while she would work and I would pet and interact with the horses at age 4 or 5 and when I got older,I was 10 and I was helping my mom in the afternoons feeding the racehorses and when I was 20 I helped my mom night watch thorughbreds broodmares at a stud farm and during that summer I got my first job as a hot walker and ever since I was a child I always wanted to work with the racehorses only that and only job I want,I guess since I was 4 I always wanted to be a jockey on a racehorse but ownership satisfied me more, now I'm 21 and own a magnificent horse!

If I can't a jockey I can be an owner

I grew up fifteen minutes from Saratoga with a father who was a hard-core handicapper with summers off. So guess where we were babysat? That's right - the track. At thirteen I was reading the past performances and dying to become a jockey. Well, I'm 6'0 so that didn't work out so well (my sister is 5'1"). My Racehorse has me thrilled to be part of the game that I have missed for many years. It's a great way to give back to the fans and make an already exciting sport even more so and I find everything about the company so well done and easy to access. Great job everyone.

Horseracing is very expensive, hence the name. In the past I looked into buying into a consortium, the investment was substantial and you would continue to pay for maintenance. My racehorse gives you an opportunity to learn, participate and enjoy. You will probably never make money, if you are lucky you can have fun. For those who suggest you put a big bet on a horse to show, you can lose your bet and it is over in a couple minutes. This is an ongoing process that is very entertaining. My biggest hope is to see one of our horses race in person. Consider your fee a cash infusion to help keep horseracing alive. I have to say, we have been avid fans for 50 years and I have learned so much from My racehorse, they are great at updating and educating. The company seems to be very well run!

MyRacehorse Barbara, we are happy that you have enjoyed your experience with us. My review on MRH

I have had my own views of buying micro-shares of horses.I just completed my research on others offering what MHR is doing. I found only one that comes close got them on the watch list. I checked in Canada, Japan, Ireland, England, Scotland, Australia, and other places in the world. Most wanted you to pay a club membership, some wanted monthly fees, and other fees. You remember the song I'm a toys r us kid well on a Myracehorse kid. I have brought stocks in the past never got the dividends I expected. I have 13 horses and the 14 Future Stars Stable bundle. My first winnings was $0.24 so far I'm won $17.09 almost 2% move over George Jefferson I'm on the way up. I could not afford to be a horse owner until now I can now official say I'm a Racehorse Owner. I hope to have 100 horses just a goal at this time. I have made a 2021 calendar and working on next year using my horses. It allows me to play big shot even through I'm just a little players. I just glad to be a owner just I want to win but you must understand there is no get rich fast investment. My shares makes the races these horses run in special enjoy the moment.

MyRacehorse Jackie, thank you so much for your support of MyRacehorse and for being a member of our big family! We love your enthusiasm and are so thankful for our many owners like you who are passionate about the sport.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE FROM THE START

I have been involved with My Racehorse since February 2020. From the start it has been nothing but a positive and fun experience. Due to the nature of everything that has occurred in the past year, being involved with My Racehorse was a good outlet to get myself back into a sport which I had not followed in quite a while. From being involved with Authentic from the start and watching his legendary run was an amazing ride for myself, as well as family and friends. This past weekend I attended the Belmont Stakes with my wife. Everything was amazing. From the amenities, where we had access directly to the track to the hospitality of everyone from My Racehorse from the CEO down. The MRH staff was amazing and made the day that much more enjoyable. I was lucky enough to win one of the lottery paddock passes and it was the highlight of a very memorable day. Also, finally getting to meet and socialize with other MRH owners from all over the country was great. Seeing MRH grow and become as popular as they have the past year has been fun to watch. I look forward to the next event, and you can count us in for Del Mar in November – All the best – Greg

MyRacehorse Greg, we are so happy that you both joined us at Belmont this past weekend! It is such a joy for us as tracks reopen to host our MRH shareholders at events all over the country, and we are looking forward to hosting more and more as we return to normalcy. Living The Dream

It has always been my dream to own a race horse! Even as a little girl, I would follow the horses. My Racehorse has been a miracle for me. I caught COVID back in November 2020 and was hospitalized for 6 days with pneumonia and blood clots in my lungs. Since my discharge, they have discovered that my pancreas, kidneys and liver probably had clots. Pre-COVID, my kidneys and pancreas were normal. Now, I fluctuate between stage 3 and 4 kidney disease and I am also facing having to use Insulin. My "stable" of 13 has been a wonderful distraction for me. Waiting with baited breath for the races and also the excitement of watching 2 year olds grow and mature. Can't wait to see those babies on the track! Hoping at some point to be able to obtain some yearlings. I will keep adding to my stable as the horses become available. Some day I hope to get lucky with a Derby, Preakness or Belmont win! Thank you from the bottom of my heart My Racehorse!

MyRacehorse Mindy, we are so sorry to hear about your health troubles, but happy to know that we have been able to provide you with a little bit of reprieve during such difficult times. Wishing you the best of luck with your stable, and we are sure to have plenty of yearlings available this fall! Hopefully we will see you in the winner's circle here soon!

Nice to be part of the biggest thrill - Horse Racing !

As a little kid, spent many weekends cleaning stalls and hot walking $1,000 to $1,500 claimers on the back side of Aqua Caliente. Later in life, I had the opportunity to run a string of horses at Les Bois Park and the Nevada fair circuit. Was very fortunate to win enough races to pay a fairly good portion of the bills. MyRacehorse has provided me the opportunity to reconnect with a segment of my youth that I loved so much. Still miss that unique feeling one has at 5:00 a.m. preparing a 2 year old for its first work out.

Chance...Chances Of A Lifetime

I purchased a share of Vertical Threat for my husband's 70th birthday to, let's face it, try to get him out of the house and going...ANYWHERE. Then COVID struck; plus his increasing mobility issues (and mine as well) put the kabosh on that. We are able through .MyRacehorse.com to watch from the comfort of our home (and our recliners) and enjoy vicariously in something never before thought possible. JUMPED (after seemingly months of trepidation and getting up at all hours of the night to be sure I didn't miss anything) at the chance to own a piece of Monomoy Girl--even making my husband possibly wait being picked up after cataract surgery to ensure didn't miss my chance! Thankfully his surgery at the VA took the usual "longer than planned" so he didn't REALLY have to wait long 🙂 Now we await HER success and the thrill of watching her race. Have always wanted to own a horse since childhood. Who knew it would take THIS turn? Thanks to everyone at .MyRacehorse.com for keeping this 1st time owner informed and answering even the most stupid questions!

MyRacehorse Sally, what a wonderful thing to enjoy racehorse ownership with your husband! And of all horses to get started on, Vertical Threat must have been so incredibly exciting for you both. Glad to hear about your passion for the sport and just happy we were able to provide you and your husband with this opportunity.
