Carrothers Disappoints
Hopes (mine) were high when Carrothers went to the post today. Pre-race he seemed to be on his toes, but he broke slowly, and ran wide most of the way. Carrothers appeared rank throughout most of the race and struggled home out of the frame - the picture frame! The turf was not his friend. That's racing. At least it didn't rain!

I raced my own horses for 50 years starting in the 70s at the the old Cahokia Downs in East St Louis, IL. I probably made a decent profit in about 5 or those years. For the last year or so I gradually phased out of my stable as I didn't want my heirs to be burdened with it. MyRacehorse is a great substitute as it gives me partial ownership of horses to own and bet knowing that if I should get ill or die, MyRacehorse won't be dunning my family for money...

I have invested over 10thousand in my 6 horse. I play to win. I have in six months got return of $750. But I have two promising two year olds and one Breeder's Cup runner that is worth twice what I paid. I am looking forward to next year watching my 4 2yolds run. The bad news is that one of my horses had to be retired due to injury Star Six Nine.

I bought shares in my first horses about two months ago and am so pleased with the information you provide your investors. I now have eleven horses in my stable and hardly a day goes by without getting an update on one or more of them. Most days there is more than one update. The information and videos you provide, starting with the young horses on the farms to the day they race, keep me up to date on how they are doing. The videos with the jockeys and information provided the day after the race are very important to any horse owner. It’s as close as one can get to their horses without being there. To be so far away you make me feel like I am so close, and I thank you for that. Thanks to the MyRacehorse support team for doing an excellent job!

Richard Baltas did a great job with our horse in Race 9 today. He was well behaved and willing. I think the turf was fine. He did a good job & the jockey kept him out of trouble. Having a good experience will make him a better horse and will improve. Looking forward to his development. Thanks.

Since my childhood I have always wanted to own a thoroughbred racehorse. I ended up in the quarter horse show pen instead. I know my horses. At first I thought this was some kind of scam and I unfortunately missed out on owning shares of some million dollar earners and I kick myself for not being a part of Authentic. But, once I joined the My Racehorse owner ranks only a few months ago...I have had a horse win! Had horses in the top money in all but one Maiden race. This is legit! I finally was able to go to an actual race to see a horse I own shares in and I was treated royally. Going down to the paddock and watching MY HORSE walk by...Mike Smith on board...being there at the finish line and then hearing the comments from jockey and trainer afterwards...Every day I get notifications and videos of workouts and events. I have met other owners and everyone is really great! And the cost? I drop more on the slots or a dinner than what some of my now 12 horses have cost. My only complaint and it is a happy one...I have two racing on the same day! I hope they have different start times! I am giving all my friends gift certificates for Christmas. THEY HAVE GOT TO BE A PART OF THIS! Thank you MRH for this! Now on to the Triple Crown! Now an absolutely real possibility.

I invested a small amount to be able to be a part of ownership, but how exactly does that work when you are only in a lottery? Are the selections based on how many shares you own and the number of owners trying to enjoy the "Perks"??? Having to come from out of state and only knowing if you have won a spot in a day or so is difficult at best.. Also I have been in the industry many years with some major connection's, but was told not to enter the barn area or paddock w/o permission.. Yet after traveling that far and not knowing or not being selected how would that be against your rules if someone else with high rapport knowing these trainers personally, arranged backside visits??

Thank you!! I used to frequent the Southern California circuit’s race tracks on a regular basis as a horse handicapper and have hit some Large tix... Unfortunately for me i got way too involved and in over my head. MRH has given me an opportunity to still be involved with these beautiful animals and not overspend which has been a saving grace!! It really is for the enjoyment!! I mean where else for pennies on the dollar can you own a piece of a World Class athlete worth over half a mill!! I love it!! If i dont Win a penny, i find this an amazing way of being involved for all the right reasons , and not the wrong!! That being said, i just want to say Thank you!! All the Best, Chris

I bought into Carrothers and Going to Vegas and have been enjoying their journey. Then I bought a share of Balletic. As it turns out, Carrothers and Balletic go back to Sadler's Wells (El Prado (IRE)) who is the grand sire of my OTTB , Henke that I am training in Dressage!! So exciting!!

As a rookie I see owning any share in a horse as a crap shoot. There are certain risks involved. I accept certain risks as cost of having fun. That's the way horse ownership needs to be viewed. If you're worried about return on investment this is the wrong investment to be involved in.

In Breeders cup races, I noticed My Racehorse entrants were all overmatched!!! Going to Vegas led her race from the front at times by 3 lengths till just after a mile and then folded like a tent. If she wasn’t fit for this distance WHY run her????

An Opportunity For Anyone Interested in Horse Ownership
I recently became involved with MyRacehorse and my first impressions have been positive. You hit a "home run" with your business plan as it appeals to horse players who want to be in the game at a reasonable price without additional investments by offering Micro Shares. There is also the option to become more or less involved with the two other products you offer. I have participated in partnerships for almost 40 years and your communication with owners far surpasses any I have been involved with. None has demonstrated your commitment to service after the sale by keeping your owners up to date on their horses with your videos, photos and narratives. There are risks with horse ownership and I never enter into a partnership with the primary goal of making a profit. Sure that would be great, but it's all about the fun and excitement of owning a horse, and that seems to be the primary goal of your organization. There are few things that match the excitement of seeing your horse leave the starting gate, compete with other horses around the track, and ultimately come down the stretch, whether it is the first time or the 100th time. I look forward to many years of association with MyRaceHorse, and can hardly wait until one of my horses has his/her first start!

I started attending the races when I was 13 years old with my father. He taught me how to read the racing form and we attended every Sunday. We went to Saratoga every second week in August to attend the auction. We stood outside the pavilion, noses pressed up against the glass, with our catalogs in hand. When I was a teenager, my parents bought a 5 acre, 4 stall horse farm. My dad always wanted to breed racehorses and got to do so for several years. Now, with a NJ breeders card in his wallet, we got to sit inside the pavilion at the Saratoga auctions, motionless, hands firmly in our pockets. We learned the bloodlines that the well-heeled were interested in and returned to NJ to water down those bloodlines to a stud fee we could afford. After he died in a sudden accident in 1988, I just kept going up to Saratoga and attending the auctions, every year, outside, nose pressed up against the glass again. It was my way of reliving fond memories. So, I was there when you purchased the six horses from that sale. I never thought, in my wildest dreams, that I would own a part of two of those fillies. You have put a smile on my face that may never go away. And when I see my dad again, I can't wait to tell him all about it. He would have loved what MRH has accomplished.

I'm 3rd generation in horse racing. My grandfather trained at Jefferson Downs and my father trained at Evangeline. I always felt like i was destined to follow up and make a name for myself in the circuit. My ultimate goal was to get my name on paper and MyRacehorse has been a tremendous door opener for me. I been dancing along these backsides most of my life and now i do it as an owner. I promised my dad that i was gonna be a winner and now im a graded stakes winner. And Myracehorse made this possible. When I made my first purchase, I made it with the same intent as every other purchase I've made. Not to make a profit but to get my name on those papers and learn more about ownership within the industry. To stand in the paddock not as a worker but an owner.

Storm Shooter was my first horse in June 0f 2020, followed by The Filly Four and Authentic. Since then I have acquired most offerings. I have been more than pleased with the total experience. I would like to see My Race Horse do 3 things: 1. Offer breeding rights with some horses so we can keep following them after their racing career is over. 2. Have an official exchange platform were you can buy and sell shares. 3. On a personal level have 4X clothing...some of us are not jockeys.

In the early 60’s my Dad bought a few race horses. The first was a grandson to Man O’War called Peak O’Glory. “Peako” was a 6 year old gelding that cost $1,000 and was recovering from bowed tendons and other ailments. If my Dad was discouraged he never showed it because he was living his dream. “Peako” was 17 hands & beautiful. It was about a year before he won a race……..you would have thought my Dad had won the Kentucky Derby instead of a cheap claiming race at Rillito Park in Tucson! As a 15 year old boy these were the best years of my life because the time I spent with my Dad. Over the years my Dad never “broke even” but that’s the point…….you just can’t put a price on a “thrill of a life time experience”. Now that I’m older I love MRH because now I can share this “thrill of a life time experience” with my daughter…..and that’s worth a million dollars to me. I dreamt of owning a Kentucky Derby winner since I was 9 years old and watched Carry Back win the Derby. When I first heard of MRH I was unable to participate in Florida, but I waited patiently for the State to allow, and purchased 3 shares of Authentic the day before the Ky Derby. Wow, my dream came through fast then! My Racehorse has been a delight to work with, wry inclusive of the owners no offering great opportunities to participate in the ownership experience. I took the tour of Spendthrift and got to meet my Derby winner person, the thrill of a lifetime. I have built my stable gradually and look forward to more opportunities to see my horses. Thanks to everyone at MRH for doing such an awesome job!
